Joining Temple Fitness was truly a turning point for me. After celebrating my 50th birthday, I found myself feeling unlike the active, energetic person I had always been. I had never really struggled with weight until perimenopause hit, and suddenly, my usual diet and exercise routine just weren’t cutting it anymore.


After talking with my OB-Gyn, she recommended I increase my protein intake and start weight training. I was a bit skeptical at first, but open to trying something new. I knew from past experience that I preferred working with a trainer—and I craved a supportive community.

Meeting with Yolanda to create a nutrition plan was incredibly encouraging. I was relieved to learn that I didn’t have to follow a restrictive or extreme diet. The plan was simple, sustainable, and allowed me to continue enjoying date nights with my husband.


Once I started small group training, I immediately connected with the women in my group. The camaraderie and accountability they offered were exactly what I needed.


After 8 months in the program, I “graduated” from nutrition coaching with a 25-pound weight loss. Even two months after stopping macro tracking, I’ve maintained my progress. I feel empowered and educated—I now understand how to adjust my nutrition to meet my goals.
